SALLY RYAN PORTFOLIO A native of Dallas, Texas, Sally began taking pictures as a high school student. Soon after picking up her first camera, she realized her passion for documenting the lives of people. Sally pursued her passion for photography at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism, one of the top journalism schools in the country. In 1998 she received a Bachelor's degree in journalism & photojournalism. Sally's work has been described as both subtle & complex, with a distinct personal style that reflects her sense of humor. Her images are artistic & straightforward with a high degree of style & composition. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Dallas Morning News and USA Today, among other national publications. Her photography has been recognized with numerous state & regional awards, and she has had the opportunity to work with the country's top photo editors on both personal & professional projects. |
